Convener of SPSA Board

On 1 January 2009, Vic Emery was appointed as the new Convener of SPSA.  Prior to his appointment, Mr Emery was Managing Director of BAE Systems Surface Fleet Solutions, which manage the shipyards on the River Clyde, and he sat on the Board of BAE Systems UK and Rest of the World Organisation from 2003 until 2008.  He is also a former Board Member and Chair of Scottish Enterprise Glasgow.  He was awarded an OBE in May 2008 for services to shipbuilding. 

He has no declared political activity and holds no other public appointments.
