torch

Forensic intelligence can be a vital component to a police investigation - providing interpretation of a crime scene and often delivering that vital piece of evidence that conclusively links a suspect to a crime.

SPSA Forensic Services makes an essential contribution to the investigative process, providing a service from ‘crime scene through to court' through the skills and knowledge of our scene examiners, scientists and fingerprint experts and a number of key support roles that keep our service running effectively.

Opportunities exist across a number of specialist scientific disciplines including, biology, chemistry, DNA, toxicology and firearms examinations to name a few.  Competition for the roles can be tough but if you have a good scientific background and looking for a fulfilling and challenging career then a career in Forensic Services may be for you.

If you want a true insight of what it's like to work for SPSA Forensic Services read what some of our staff say in their personal profiles.
