The Scottish Police College is the central police training establishment serving all eight Scottish police forces and agencies, and supports around 14,500 officers.  The College provides a comprehensive programme of training for officers of all levels, from training for new recruits to specialist training for detectives and traffic officers.

As well as requiring the skills and knowledge of experienced police officers and specialist trainers, we employ a range of dedicated personnel behind the scenes.

This includes graphic designers and printing staff, caterers, fitness instructors and event management officers to ensure that the College has the flexibility and resilience to support each and every student that passes through its doors.

The College is a valued institution not only in Scottish policing but the world over and the 200 plus staff currently based there have an incredible pride and sense of value in being part of such a renowned establishment.

If you want to find out more about the opportunities available for police officers and support staff at the College, visit the Meet Our People section to read about some of the specific roles we have and to meet the people whose passion has cemented the reputation of the College as a leading educational provider.
