Compliance

Working strategically in partnership with senior managers, the compliance function ensures the provision of comprehensive internal and external audit services including measurement and evaluation of the adequacy, reliability and effectiveness of the SPSA's corporate governance, best value, internal and other control arrangements. 

Close liaison with the internal auditors, Audit Scotland and Head of Finance and the SPSA Board's Audit Committee sits within this support area.

The Compliance function is also responsible for Health and Safety, Freedom of Information and Data Protection compliance.
